“I created the OASIS because I never felt at home in the real world. I didn’t know how to connect with people there. I was afraid, for all of my life. Right up until I knew it was ending. That was when I realized, as terrifying and painful as reality can be, it’s also the only place where you can find true happiness. Because reality is real.”

After a long time thinking about both sides of the quotes and reflecting the specific idea, I totally agree with both of the quotes, the only reality that we have is now and the past, because as the author of the second quote said, reality is the only place you can find true happiness. But, at the end, we can find happiness wherever  we feel like we are in home. I can relate this with religion and God because there are many people that believes in god ant think that they will find happiness in heaven, I am atheist but I have total respect for people that believes that. Everyone has its own point of view and that has to be respected. 

The first quote I think the humans was so distracted that they forgot the real reality and started to give more importance to the Oasis because there, they could be whatever they wanted so, as I wrote in my first paragraph is all about perspective, may be a group of people lived better in the Oasis and other got bored.

I see a lot of virtues in Oasis, you can do many cool things that in real life could not be possible, like play your favorite game in virtual reality as a first person. The only think that I don’t like is the big price for the winner of the keys, I think that makes a lot more competitive system that creates a bad environment cause of the people that could be cheaters.

Our culture would be altered too much because we would use different values cause you can hide your real personality and convert in whoever you want, you can have the life that you want if you have the correct amount of money that I think it still being capitalism. So, as it happens in social media, a lot of people offend and hide itself in their username, they would never show the same disrespect in real life as behind of a monitor.

I think we are closer to create a system for the Oasis and I don't have any doubt that it will be real.
